Overview

From Avenue Road ascending lanes to Sunny View we take a path through Deri woods to Parc Lodge Farm and Rholben gateway.  Contouring below Sugar Loaf summit, with fabulous views weather permitting, we descend Cwm Trosnant into St Mary’s Vale crossing the stream to take a hidden path on the side of the Rholben through more  ancient oaks and back to the cars.  Most ascent is before lunch.
