From the car park we walk through the wood up to the New Visitors Centre, cross over the B5367 and continue to meet the track taking us alongside the Void.
We then navigate the pathways around the void and returning to the Heritage Centre where you can enjoy food and refreshments.

Following the end of opencast mining the void was left to its own devices for many years, Now it is a magnet for wild life and rare species of birds.
