We are the Brighton and Hove Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This is a circular walk starting around the reservoir and across to Arlington village, then over farmland to Abbot's Wood and returning across more fields to the opposite bank of the reservoir. The walk is mostly flat (although there are several stiles) and covers a variety of scenery.
Some sections of the walk could be muddy if it is wet so please wear appropriate footwear and consider bringing poles. Some very small sections could be overgrown so walkers should be aware of the risk of stings, scratches or tick bites.
Although dogs are welcome on this walk owners will need to keep them on a lead for most of this route as this is a requirement around the reservoir and elsewhere we go through a number of fields with livestock in them. This is a flat walk.

Arlington Reservoir Car Park, there is a charge of £2.50 here, although there is some free parking available in the lay-by opposite the entrance. This is about 10 minutes walk north of Berwick Station.
