Overview

From Woodingdean Library we will walk along the side of Happy Valley, down to Wick Bottom then up across East Brighton Golf Course. We will then walk along the top of Sheepcote Valley to the Racecourse and cross to the Drove Road, back to Woodingdean.

The walk is mainly on good paths, but there are some muddy section so good footwear is essential and poles are recommended. Most gradients are gentle but there is one slightly steeper decent and climb.

Outside Woodingdean Library, this can be reached on the 2, 22 or 52 (Big Lemon) bus or there is a small car park in front of the Community Centre, but this is often full so drivers are advised to allow time to find a space in nearby streets.
