Overview

The walk goes up the track past Avening House to Shiptons Grave Lane, with a steady moderate climb. Much of the rest of the walk is flat or goes gently down hill through pasture land.

After a flat walk it drops gently back down on footpaths to Pond Convert and along the valley towards Avening Park. It then takes the road and footpath down to the church  before returning to the start point.

One Refreshment stop.
