From Muiravonside Country Park we follow field and woodland tracks to make our way to the Union Canal. A short detour brings us to Haining Wood to maybe see some bluebells. At Muiravonside Church we cross over the canal to our lunch stop. From there we go through woodland, back to the canal then on to the impressive Avon Aqueduct, the second longest in Britain. We descend the steps to the River Avon and walk through the park to the start point.
