Overview

Starting from Threipmuir Reservoir Car Park.  This is an approx. 15km/9 miles circular lovely mid-height walk in the Pentland Hills.  Good paths and tracks before ascending up over West Kip (551m), East Kip (534m), South Black Hill (563m), and Scald Law (579m), with fabulous views on a clear day.  We will drop down to The Howe for lunch, then continue to skirt round Black Hill returning to car park along Threipmuir Reservoir.  Local grade B+.

Also you may want to car share, as this car park could be busy. Parking meters may have been installed.

Please contact walk leader by text/mobile to confirm that you are planning to join the walk.  Many thanks.

This walk is part of the 30th Anniversary celebrations - 30 Great Years - 30 Favourite Walks.
