Overview

A moderate  9 mile walk from Ashford in the Water DE45 1QG. SK19446977
Strides.happening.churn. The car park is small and a £2 donation in the Honesty box is requested. Otherwise plenty of roadside parking in the village. 1000 ft ascent. This is a fairly easy walk with the climbing in the first half hour. It is quite muddy so poles are a good idea. We climb the hill past the mast and over fields to Over Haddon, making our way down to Bakewell then back along the river ( this can be quite muddy) to Ashford. Coffee and lunch stops en route. I can offer lifts to 2 people. Lorraine 07736391108
