Overview

We meet outside Jenno's cafe at Everards Meadows.  Note 10-30 start.

This walk starts at Everards Meadows and follows the River Soar, the Grand Union Canal and the old railway line passing many areas of interest including the Leicester City football stadium and Aylestone Meadows Local Nature Reserve.

Please note that parking is available in Fosse Park shopping centre, the Next side of the road and then cross the main road to Everard Meadows. The car park at Everards Meadows does not allow enough time to complete the walk.  The lunch stop is at the Braunstone cafe 96 degrees.
