Betty and Paddy will lead the walk from the starting point of Wilton Avenue which is just off the A6 road, Loughborough. The walk will go back to Burton Walks and through the old cemetery. There will be a circuit of Charnwood water and then the walk will follow the canal and river to Dishley water, then go by the river to Hathern. The Sky bus will be used to return back to Loughborough.
Please bring a packed lunch.
Bus pass or money/card for bus journey.
This is in actual fact a linear walk, walking from Loughborough to Hathern and then returning by using the Skybus from Hathern back to Loughborough.
Wilton Avenue is a side road by the A6 in Loughborough just after Shelthorpe Road.
