Overview

Our walk starts from the car park at Cumbernauld train station and the first part is not scenic!  However, once we leave the road, it is a beautiful walk mainly through forests, taking in most of a Badger Loop, having lunch at (hopefully) a loch and walking back across a golf course and through more forest.

After an upward path into the woods, the route is very easy walking on good tracks.  I had no problem doing it in walking shoes. Local Grade C.
