Taking in 4 villages, 2 counties, a viaduct and the meandering river Welland. This walk follows the Jurassic Way to Haringworth, then onto Seaton and then follows the Rutland Round to Morcott and back into Barrowden. Superb views of the mighty 82 arch Welland valley viaduct.
This is part of the Rutland Walking Festival
There are a few higher than usual stiles on this walk and a few uphill stretches.
Refreshments are available at the Exeter Arms at the end of the walk.
Dogs are welcome provided they are on leads at all times as there is livestock in a few fields. Please be prepared to lift your dog over a few of the stiles as there are no other options to get through.
Please consider car sharing arrangements with other members to reduce the pressure on parking spots at the start of the walk.
In the event of severe weather, please contact the leader on the morning to check the walk is still on.
