Join CYW for today's walk from Berkhamsted exploring the local woodland. Please bring a packed lunch.
We leave the centre of Berkamsted behind passing the Castle and head up into local farmland before we enter woodland of Frithsden Beeches. Emerging from the woodland at Ashridge House before making out way to the Bridgewater Monument where we'll pause for Lunch (toilets available).
We'll follow the Ickneild way trail through Northchurch Common and some final stretches of woodland and farmland back to Berkhamsted.

Front entrance of Berkhamsted Station, by the Canal, HP4 2AJ. There is free parking along the roads around the station on Sundays, White Hill (HP4 1LJ) and Castle Hill (HP4 1HB) Lower Kings Road Multistorey (top floors) is 5 minutes walk away (HP4 2AB) is £4 or the station at £7 for the whole day!
