We are the North West Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

If you are a Ramblers member, please bring your membership card. You MUST text or ring the leader to BOOK a place. You should not join the walk unless you have received a verbal CONFIRMATION or a TEXT.
In the event of bad weather or walking conditions, this walk may be postponed to 8th December.
We will set off from the start point just South of Cwmyoy. We aim for Partrishow via the Cambrian way, over the hill and then onto Crug Mawr. From here we head North once we have taken in the views and drop down through the forest to our lunch stop. Onwards down into the Grwyn thiw walk may be postponed to 8th e Fawr valley and over the next ridge to return via the village of Cwmyoy. 2500ft of ascent but wonderful. Please bring your lunch and don’t forget plenty of layers and poles may be useful.
Contact walk leader Rod to reserve your place on this walk and to tell him if you are going direct or require car share. For those members who are happy to car share, we meet first at the Bristol Road Sports Ground car park in Chippenham. Lifts are suggested at £6.00.
We will meet at 9.15am and then set off from the start point just South of Cwmyoy at 9.30am. (turn uphill for 300 m opposite the Fountain Inn). Please park thoughtfully.
