We are the North West Wiltshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

If you are a Ramblers member, please bring your membership card. You MUST text or ring the leader to BOOK a place. You should not join the walk unless you have received a verbal CONFIRMATION or a TEXT.
This walk takes us South to the Pewsey white horse where we ascend Fyfield Down, along the escarpment and past the Giants Grave long barrow to Milton Hill Clump viewing point. We then Loop South to Lower Everleigh. Here we turn North across Abbots Down to collect the White Horse Trail to Manningford Abbots. The Pewsey Trail takes us back to the cars. There are wonderful views across the Pewsey Vale to the Wansdyke and the Northern Wessex Downs. Please bring a packed lunch.
Contact walk leader Rod to reserve your place on this walk and to tell him if you are going direct or require car share. For those members who are happy to car share, we meet first at the Bath Road car park in Chippenham. (“Pay and Display”). Lifts are suggested at £4.00.
We park up and meet at 09:45am on Broomcroft Road in Pewsey to start the walk from here at 10:00am. Please park thoughtfully. OS Explorer 157.
