BOOKING FOR THIS WALK IS REQUIRED.
If you are a Ramblers member, please bring your membership card. You MUST text or ring the leader to BOOK a place. You should not join the walk unless you have received a verbal CONFIRMATION or a TEXT.
Please note that this walk is "weather dependent" as it is all about the magnificent views and the backup date is Wednesday 7th August.
This walk takes us to the spectacular views over the Wye Valley looking North and not a massive ascent but enough to get the lungs working. We set off along the River Heddu valley to the Vision farm and then ascend to Offas Dyke. Turning North takes us to Hay Bluff (677m) and the North facing escarpment which defines the Brecons national park. Crossing Gospel Pass and another rise brings us to Lord Herefords Knob (690m) or Twmpa as it is also known. Our hard work is complete as we now descend gently down a beautiful valley back to the cars.
Please bring packed lunch and book your place by calling or texting leader Rod on 07799823364.
