Overview

We leave Thurlbear and pick up the Herepath Trail which passes the RSPCA centre at West Hatch. The route then continues on the East  Dean Way through fields and on forest tracks with lovely views down to Castle Neroch for a late coffee stop and on to Staple Hill for lunch. We then pick up the East Dean Way again and Herepath Trail and return to Thurlbear. Less than 5 stiles. There is a lovely pub close by for a drink after the walk. Coffee and lunch stops.
