Overview

A classic Mendip walk; starting from Cheddar, visiting the highest point of the Mendip Hills at Beacon Batch, followed by a gentle meander along Velvet Bottom, and finishing with the spectacular views from the top of Cheddar Gorge. Finishing back in Cheddar, there is the option of a pub/café visit for post-walk refreshments. Coffee and lunch stops. Less than 5 stiles.
