This walk is an opportunity to work up an appetite for our Christmas Lunch at Ashmore's restaurant. From Radcliffe we will walk along the Trent Valley Way towards Holme Pierrepont and around Hackett Lakes before retracing our steps. The walk is mostly on good tracks and lanes with some road walking - there is a short stretch of woodland path that may be very muddy. It is a flat walk with no significant elevations; there are two stiles.

There will be a short coffee stop only. We have to be back at Ashmore's Restaurant at 12:15 for 12:45.
Park in Health Centre Car Park (free), Hunt Close off Main Rd, Radcliffe on Trent, Nottingham NG12 2GD (not Walkers Yard Car Park). We have permission from Rushcliffe Borough Council to use the car park all day without penalty. Please car share if possible. Public transport: Trent Barton Mainline from Nottingham to Radcliffe via West Bridgford - every 30 mins.
