It is nearly the festive season, so what better than a good old Christmas mystery. This one is a mystery walk and is part of my Flat 5 series. The walk leader will be keeping the route a close secret. Not until you tread the paths and roads will you know where you are going.
Maybe we will go along an old railway line or even a disused canal. Just when the tension is beginning to be overwhelming, there is a surprise stop in the walk and an unexpected treat.
Our return to the starting point will be by a further mystery route. We should be back before 1:30 pm but if you use a pay for car park in West Bridgford, please get plenty of parking time just in case we are later.
The walk will be about 5 miles with ascent no more than 100 ft in total. There are no stiles to climb over and all paths are well made. There will be a drink stop, so please bring any drinks or snacks with you.
There is no need to book for the walk, just turn up on the day. Please arrive a few minutes before the start time to allow for introductions and a briefing.
After the walk, you have the opportunity to sample the best that West Bridgford centre has to offer for food and drink.
Public transport - a frequent service of buses call nearby, serving a variety of destinations. Please check online for details
Car parking - there are several pay for car parks in the area. Alternatively there is free on-street parking on certain roads just a few minutes walkaway (check out any restrictions though).
