We are the Ramblers Northampton. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Walking out of Braunston along the canal and over the tunnel before rejoining the canal as we progress towards Welton, then on to Ashby St Ledgers and on towards Barby where we can enjoy refreshments at Barby nurseries cafe. Then it is on to Willoughby and back to Braunston. Mostly crossing pastural and arable land, with short stretches along roads.
Parking near the church on the cemetery side. Toilet and refreshments at the cafe en route.
We will be walking at a good pace to enable the visit to the cafe and returning in time before darkness falls.
