We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk will start at Caen Hill car park. The walk will cross the Kennet and Avon Canal and will follow the towpath past the Caen Hill locks, Upper and Lower Foxhanger Farms almost to the Marina. It will the retrace the towpath to the bottom of the Caen Hill locks to cross the canal and go in a loop back to the car park. 3.5 miles. The walk will then cross the canal again and go past Caen Hill cafe and continue along the canal to the Wharf Theatre. I will then retrace its steps back to the Caen Hill cafe and the car park.
The car park is at the end of Marsh Lane. From the A361 turn into Marsh Lane B3101 and take the 2nd right after the canal into Marsh Lane. Please car share, the leader has 3 spaces.
