Overview

A moorland walk with good views to the north of mountains such as Ben Vorlich, Ben Ledi, Ben Each etc. Views to the east are of Stirling, Dumyat and the Wallace Monument.

A fairly steep ascent at the beginning but levelling off quite a bit after a short while.  There is a mixture of sheep paths, tractor paths and sometimes no paths.  The track on the return leg is much better than that on the outward leg.

Underfoot will be muddy and marshy in places.
