There is a bailout point after about 6.5 miles at Limefield, where there's a pub and buses to Bury.
Climbs to a fair height, with good views at some points, but most of the uphill is steady, with a couple of short steep sections.
No toilets or refreshments till towards the end, either the pub in Limefield.
