Overview

East from the station, a steady climb passing Whittaker golf club to join the Pennine Bridleway. Then South to cross the bridge over the M62 by Hollings Hill. A steep descent to the valley floor then NW going under the M62 to Rakewood. Then clockwise around Hollingworth Lake with a short section of road before heading North-ish to follow the Rochdale Canal back to the station.
