Overview

This walk starts in the scenic village of Cavendish famed for its connection with Sue Ryder and Leonard Cheshire and goes along the Stour Valley Path towards Clare.  In Clare there will be the options of visiting the huge Church of St Peter and St Paul, the motte and bailey castle, a disused railway station repurposed as a cafe, and an Abbey.  The walk returns to Cavendish via the River Stour.
