Start time 10.30am. Later start time to coincide with the arrival of the train from Piccadilly station, for those wishing to use public transport.
Meet on Chinley station carpark. Park there at your discretion or roadside parking nearby.
A moderate walk, 10.7 miles with 1600 feet of ascent. Estimated finish time 4pm.
Route: Chinley, Buxworth Basin, Peak Forest canal, Shedyard Clough, TV mast, Peep-O-Day farm, Mount Famine, Chinley.
