Stockport Ramblers is the largest of the 10 Ramblers groups in the Greater Manchester and High Peak area. We offer walks in the Stockport area, but also further afield, such as the Peak District, Southern Pennines, Yorkshire Dales and Snowdonia. We also arrange walking weekends away, to places such as the Lake District, Wales and the Northern Pennines.
We have walks to suit all abilities, so if you are new to walking you may choose a shorter and easier walk in the local area, or if you are more experienced you may choose a harder walk in the moorlands or possibly the mountains of Snowdonia.
Although we are a large group, we are very friendly (or so we are told!) and we do our utmost to welcome newcomers.
