Overview

This is a 6.5 mile flat walk. 

The Start, Transpennine Trail Car Park, Seamons Road, Altrincham. WA14 5RF. additional car parking in Atlantic Street opposite the car park entrance.

On leaving the car park we follow the Transpennine Trail for just under two miles. We leave the trail at the former Dunham railway station walking along the road to Dunham Woodhouses. We then cross the fields to Little Bollington. From there we enter the grounds of Dunham Park (The ancestral home of Gray family, Lord Stamford). After our lunch break we return to the start via Dunham Town and the Bridgewater Canal.
