We are the Sheffield Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Bus 86, at 10.01, from Angel Street CG3, to Grenoside Main Street/Norfolk Hill junction, opposite the Community Garden, arriving 10.30 approx. Cars can park in the Old Red Lion car park or Grenoside Community Centre. Meeting place is the Community Garden at Norfolk Hill cross roads
There will be a circular walk from Grenoside, ending in time for the Christmas meal at the Old Red Lion - see separate event entry for meal details.
The walk will follow a clockwise route through woods to the north of Grenoside. Prior Royd, Wheata Wood and Greno Wood, with perhaps a brief section onto Wharncliffe Chase. Much will depend on the weather and ground conditions, and the timing, so plans are fairly flexible!
