Overview

This years Christmas Walk is on Sunday 29th December, andwill start from the Ring O'Bells in Burscough, L40 5TE at 10.30am. This is free walk open to all, no coach so make your own way there for a seven mile walk using the towpath of the Leeds to Liverpool Canal, and part of the Rufford Branch.

Meet at the Ring O'Bells pub. Starting at 10.30am. We head along the Leeds to Liverpool Canal to the Slipway Bar & Restaurant, the field paths or lanes depending on the water levels. On to the Rufford Branch to Top Locks, and back to the Ring O'Bells. Should you wish to have a meal at the Ring O'Bells after the walk (should end around 1.30pm) you may like to book as it is a Sunday and it may not be possible just to "walk in".
