Overview

A ramble over the rolling green hills to the east of the village of Ceinws with ever-changing views taking in the Tarrens, Cadair Idris, the Dyfi hills and the mountains of mid-Wales.

Our route takes us up through fields above the Glesyrch valley to Bwlch-lluan and Ysgubor Fraithwen and then follows an undulating path along the hillside. A steep descent brings us down to the village of Llanwrin where there will be a chance to visit the church. After an equally steep ascent we continue on further field paths to reach a quiet lane, which we follow for a short distance. With a final ascent across fields and through forestry we reach the two wind turbines on Mynydd Glandulas. From here it is an easy mile and a half back to the start.
