After alighting from the bus in Chancery the route proceeds uphill with fine views of the coast & inland. A steepish drop down brings us to the Coast path near Morfa Bychan. The path is followed all the way back to Aberystwyth with good coastal views especially of the town itself before the long steep drop down to Tanybwlch beach at Alltwen.
If you are driving to Aberystwyth to catch the bus it is a good idea to leave your car in thr car park at Tanybwlch beach. From here it takes 25 mins to walk to get the 1035 T1 bus from stand 7 at the bus station. Walking poles are recommended for the steep descent down to tanybwlch beach.
