Overview

A 4.7 miles walk starting at Poynton Pool car park, Angelsey Drive, SK12 1LJ.  

We will set off towards Towers Farm, we will cross fields so possibility of encountering livestock - NO DOGS PLEASE. We will then stroll through Long Plantation onto Norbury Hollow across Norbury Brook and through Hazel Grove golf course. Across to the Middlewood Way, crossing the Ladybrook Valley Interest Trail just before Middlewood Station. We will then make our way back to Towers Road via New House Farm and Towers Yard Farm and follow Angelsey Drive back to the car park.

A short drive back towards Hazel Grove brings us to the Fiveways Pub where we will have an optional lunch at 13.15.
