Overview

Mossley, Quick Edge, Lydgate, Wharmton, Uppermill, Pobgreen, Pots n Pans, Pennine Bridleway

After a short level walk it is largely upwards until we get to Wharmton Tower then down into Uppermill and up again to Pobgreen , along to the monument and then down to the bridleway to return to the start.

Many opportunities to adjust the route should the weather prove to be a problem
