This interesting circular walk offers varied scenery with mixed woodlands, parkland, lakes and is particularly beautiful alongside the River Nene.
We start from Hardingstone village, then make our way across a park into Delapre woods, emerging into Delapre park. The circuit takes in Delapre Abbey, winding it's way through an oak wood, eventually arriving at the University of Northampton.
We will be walking alongside the River Nene as far as the beginning of the Washlands.
The return skirts Delapre lake, and golf course.
Meet at the Sun Inn, High Street, Hardingstone NN4 7BT. Please park considerately in the village.
The paths through woodland can be muddy so sturdy footwear is advisable.
No stiles.

Refreshments available after the walk at the Sun Inn. The pub does not open until midday so we are unable to pre-order lunch, however I am happy to take pre-orders nearer the time - I will include a menu on our WhatsApp Group.
