Overview

The first part of this circular walk follows the towpath by the Grand Union canal to Nether Heyford.  The route then leaves the canalside and makes it's way by field paths and woods through the pretty village of Stowe Nine Churches to Upper Stowe.

This is a hilly part of Northamptonshire, the Stowes occupy high ground overlooking beautiful sweeping  countryside.
