Overview

The walk is largely through the forest shared with cyclists. The viewpoints do not disappoint, especially if the weather is good. There are no stiles. Poles will be needed as there are a few climbs, not too strenuous but can be a bit rocky at points. Gaiters would be best used, nothing that is too taxing to navigate.

There are some fallen trees, nothing that cannot be easily manoeuvred around. There is one on the path around the Blue Pool, this has been cut enough to make access manageable.
