Meet at Coaley Peak car park at 9:45 for a 10:00 am start. This walk along the Cotswold edge and outlying hills, Cam Long Down and Downham Hill, has numerous viewpoints and outstanding scenery, particularly in spring. An up-and-down walk, mostly on footpaths. Partly on the Cotswold Way and then back through Uley and Nympsfield villages. There is the possibility of taking tea at Caper cafe, at the gliding club, afterwards.
Bring a picnic lunch and something to sit on. Possible refreshments at The Old Crown, Uley.
Paths will be muddy. Wear appropriate clothing. Walking boots are recommended and walking poles may be advisable.
This walk is free to join. After 2 or 3 walks kindly consider becoming a member of Ramblers, giving you access to a huge number of led walks and helping to keep public footpaths open.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate dogs, except assistance dogs.
