Overview

A woodland stroll, open fields and Lake views all in one walk ! Starting at Simons Wood NT we cross the A321 & B3348 before skirting around Wellington College continuing to Ambarrow Hill following 3 Castles Path in places before reaching Horseshoe Lakes, passing Grove Lake & turning beside Colebrook Lake continuing to Finchampstead Ridges back to the carpark. A good summer or winter walk although it may be muddy after rainfall .

We have 4 possibly busy road crossings (A321 x2 & B3348 x2) & some minor road walking without footpaths - short distance. Some damaged boardwalks - beware! Surface Tree Roots!
