Walk details

Come join us for a short 3-mile stroll round the sites of Reading. We will walk through Forbury Gardens, the Abbey ruins, along the river and underneath the bridge, round the outside of Reading University, and return to Reading station via one of the town's many pubs for a drink or two.

By public transport

Reading station is easily reached by many train and bus routes for the start of the walk.

By car

There are car parks at the station and elsewhere in the town centre, where charges will apply.

• Please bring a drink and a snack.
• Please note: there is NO lunch stop on this walk.
• Please feel free to contact the leaders with queries about the walk, or if you are delayed on the day.
