This route is a nice route to walk for a recovery following the social in Newbury on the Sunday. The route will start from Sandhurst station entrance heading up through Wildmoor Heath SSSI nature reserve, passing on through Broadmoor Common and up past Broadmoor Hospital. We then head into Crowthorne Woods to join the Devil's highway into Swinley Forest where we will make our way to Caesar Camp (an Iron Age hill fort) where we will walk around the ramparts and stop for lunch. After lunch we will head on through Swinley Forest passed the Lower Start post and following the edge of Sandhurst RMA before heading back into Wildmoor Heath and returning to Sandhurst station.
