Overview

Starting from Coombs reservoir we head back towards Whaley Bridge, dropping down to Taxal before heading along the Midshire Way. We follow the Way for several miles as we walk along good tracks through the woods above Fernilee Reservoir. We drop down to cross over the dam and skirting Bunsal Cob we climb steadily to cross Long Hill, heading for the Outdoor centre. Leaving the Midshires Way we continue on down past several farms towards the village of Coombs and then on to our cars.
