A 9.5 mile walk from Purple Pakora car park in Marple.
We start by taking the GM Ringway along the Peak Forest Canal to Marple Aqueduct where we drop down to the River Goyt which we follow to Compstall where we enter Etherow Country Park. We ascend through Ernocroft Wood crossing the Glossop Road to follow paths to Mill Brow, onto Mellor Church, Linnet Clough, Bottom's Bridge and back along the canal.
