We are the Newark Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This will be a walk around the country park, mainly on surfaced paths, but walkers should come prepared for January weather. The varied route will include one short, steep hill, lakeside walking and the Grantham Canal. There will be coffee and picnic lunch stops, plus a viewpoint stop. Dogs are permitted, but must be kept on a lead at all times. There are no toilets in the park, but there are places suitable for comfort breaks if required.
