Overview

A circular walk from Kinoulton village to Colston Bassett and back. We meet at 10.30 at the car park of the Neville Arms pub in Kinoulton, NG12 3EH. Park where you can, either in the pub car park ( will arrange this with them first), or on the road nearby. We then follow the footpath past Hall Farm, and along side the River Smite to Colston Bassett village. Through the village then up the footpath to the remains of St Mary's Church, where we stop for a coffee break - benches available.  We then proceed back down Owthorpe Road and then onto the Grantham canal tow path back to Kinoulton. There will be a lunch stop at the picnic are next to the canal - benches available again.
