Overview

A walk for lovers of our summer game. The cricket season may be over but this is an opportunity to visit where it all began at Broadhalfpenny Down, Hambledon. We'll stop for lunch at the Bat and Ball (https://www.batandballclanfield.co.uk/food/menus). A nature reserve, much open downland and the opportunity to say "I've been there". Some unavoidable road-walking, I'm afraid, albeit on quiet lanes.
