Overview

Beautiful views south at the start, at the coffee stop and towards the end. Woods, commons and fields plus fungi, pheasants and fishing lakes. An initial steep descent, then more gentle ascents. A few stiles.

Hurtwood Control CP 6 ("Radar site"). From Farley Green continue on Shophouse Lane to Row Lane past houses and into woods. At crest ( junction of Row Lane and Winterfold Heath Road) go over the crest and immediately turn left into car park on the Greensand Way just off Alderbrook Road heading downhill.
