A moderate 5 mile walk starting from Hollin Lane to the South East of Sutton, Macclesfield. The route follows mostly well signed paths, tracks and lanes. There is a short section along a busy road. There are some steep ups and downs and parts can be muddy after rain.
Croker Hill forms the upper reaches of Sutton Common offering fine views over the Cheshire Plain.
There will be an optional pub lunch after the walk, more details to follow.

Roadside parking near Gritstone trail marker post "reduce speed now"sign on Hollin Lane (NW of The Ryles Arms pub and southeast of Sutton). Do not park in the nearby hamlet.
