Overview

The walk starts by walking along the Penine Bridleway via the Sett Valley Trail, up onto Lantern Pike (great views!) then via Butchers Piece Farm to Cown Edge. We return to Hayfield via Rowarth and Thornsett Brow.

This is a 10 mile walk with around 1500 ft of ascent. There will be some rough terrain and can be muddy in places so boots are required! There will be a small amount of road walking.
